SafeTALK
Talk stands for: Tell, Ask, Listen, Keepsafe
This program is a three-hour suicide alertness program that prepares anyone over the age of 15, regardless of prior experience or training, to become a suicide alert helper. Minimum: 5 participants.
SafeTALK trained-helpers will be able to identify and recognize people with thoughts of suicide and connect them with life-saving first aid resources.

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Trainings-ASIST
This is a two day training. Minimum participants: 6
Evaluations have shown that Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) increases caregivers’ knowledge and confidence to respond to a person at risk of suicide
Over the course of two days, participant will learn to:
Recognize opportunities for help
Reach out and offer support
Estimate the risk for suicide
Apply a model for suicide intervention
Link people with community resources

Question, Persuade, Refer-QPR Gatekeeper Training
This is a one to two-hour training program that teaches participants three simple skills to avert suicide and save a life: Question, Persuade, and Refer. Minimum: 5 participants
QPR Training increases awareness of suicide as the most preventable cause of death. It helps dispel misconceptions and myths, teaches warning signs, and discusses emotional reactions to suicide.
QPR does not include suicide risk assessment training. The training will prepare you to be a QPR Gatekeeper, just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis that saves lives.
